Moderator applications are announced in the #announcements channel of our Discord server when positions become available. To be eligible, you must have at least 7 days of playtime on DNRP, maintain a 100% trust score, and have been part of our Discord community for over 2 months. If applications are open, you can also find the form on our official Application Page.
We regularly host monthly events open to all members of the community who wish to participate. Event announcements are posted in the #events channel on our Discord server, where you’ll find details including the event description, date, time, location, and any prizes involved.
You can purchase a personal vehicle through our store. Once added, the vehicle will be locked to your account only. If you’d like to share access with friends, you can also purchase OnStar, which allows for shared use. Additionally, custom engine sounds are available for personal vehicles and can be purchased separately through the store.
You can become a member of one of our Law Enforcement departments — including LSMPD, SASP, and BCSO — or join San Andreas Fire & Rescue (SAFR). You are allowed to be in one LEO department and SAFR at the same time. If you’re interested in communications, you can also apply to SACO (San Andreas Communications Office). To begin the process, join our Discord server, navigate to the #new-ticket channel, click on LEO/ EMS / DOJ Ticket, choose the department you want to apply for, and then select Application.

Gangs are managed by designated leaders listed in the #gang-information channel on our Discord server. If you’re interested in joining a gang, you may reach out to one of these leaders directly. Please note that acceptance is entirely at their discretion, and each gang may have its own requirements or standards.
To start your own gang, you must be a Trusted Civilian with a 100% trust score. Additionally, you’ll need to recruit at least 6 other players who will actively be part of your gang. Once these requirements are met, you can submit a Gang Application through our Application Page for review.
Our community includes members from various time zones around the world, including GMT, CEST, and EST. However, all official server operations and scheduling follow the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone, which is also where the server is hosted
To join Darker Nights Roleplay, you must be at least 13 years old, in compliance with Discord’s Terms of Service. This age requirement is strictly enforced to maintain community standards and platform guidelines.
If you need to report a player in-game, use the /report command by typing /report [Player ID] [Reason] in the in-game chat. One of our active moderators will review and respond to the report as soon as possible. If the player is no longer in the server or the issue occurred on Discord, please use our ticket system. Navigate to the #new-ticket channel in our Discord, follow the instructions to open a ticket, and select option 3 - Report a Player. A moderator will assist you from there.
If you believe your ban was unfair or unjustified, you can appeal it through our ticket system. Visit the #new-ticket channel in our Discord server, select option 5 - Appeal a Ban, and a staff member will assist you through the process. If you have been banned specifically from our Discord server, you may submit a Ban Appeal Form, which can be completed once every 3 months.
